General Cancellation Policy

  • 7 days’ notice before travel will enable the issue of a full refund
  • Less than 7 days’ notice and more than 48 hours’ notice will result in a cancellation fee of 30% of the total amount
  • Less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount
  • Cancellation on the day of travel will result in the full booking fee being charge, unless a new day of travel is confirmed

Please note pay on board customers do not reserve a seat. To reserve or book a seat payment must be received 6 hours prior to travel.

General Policy

Luggage allowance is 20kg per passenger. Should your client require extra luggage to travel, they will be charged at freight rates upon boarding.

Buses R Us is not a common carrier and reserves the right to refuse to agree to carry any person, luggage or goods without giving any reason.

Buses R Us will endeavour to adhere to stated departure and arrival times, but will not be liable for any failure to meet those times.

No flammable liquids, firearms or explosives shall be carried on any Buses R Us vehicles.

Children Travel Policy

Newborns and children under 18 months of age must be restrained by either capsule or car seat. Buses R Us do not supply these items. A fare of 50% of the current concession rate will apply to all children under the age of 18 months. Children 18 months and older must pay the concession rate applied on the sector they travel upon.

Children up to and including age 7 must be accompanied by a person 15 years or older.

Children from 8 years old will be carried provided a letter of authority is completed prior to departure.  They must be seated in sight of the driver throughout the journey.

Luggage Requirements

Service Cancellation Policy 

A service can be cancelled at any time at the company’s discretion. A full refund will be available at point of purchase.

Buses R Us reserves the right to amend and cancel any scheduled departure for any reason.

Customer Cancellation Policy

 Please note a change in policy and terms and conditions of travel, effective Monday 22/9/08.

Passengers that fail to board on the date of travel issued on the ticket will forfeit the right to travel. The tickets are not transferable.

Our new refund policy will take place 30/6/2010

  • All bookings are non-refundable
  • Bookings can be transferred so long as more than 48 hours of notice is given prior to the travel date
  • Open tickets are for 3 months from the date of cancellation
  • Tickets are non-transferable to other persons
 

Refunds will be given on a cancelled service at the company’s discretion. However, if cancellation is due to natural causes beyond our control (floods/road closures etc.) no refund may be given and new travel date will be offered.
